5 things...

Some of these might sound slightly mean-spirited, but that's not how they're intended... and they really did just make my day better.

1. It was World Language Knowledge Bowl day, so I didn't have to teach. It was a nice break.
2. There's this kid who has been grating on my nerves for quite a while now, and I FINALLY was given a good enough reason to write him up (you just do NOT tell a teacher to shut up!). Now maybe he'll stop being such a terror.
3. My French 1 class kicked butt in the Knowledge Bowl!!
4. I voted in my first presidential election! (I missed the last one because I couldn't get an absentee ballot in time)
5. I had my wrist brace on today (every now and then, it swells up and really hurts, but when the brace is on, it feels better. Nobody really knows what it is, but I'm dealing with it), and so many kids asked me if I was ok. It was just nice to know they at least pretend to care...
