That's surprising to me -- especially with the men, but even with the women. I talked to a woman at one SEC school who said that although their pledge classes were generally around 70-75 women, it would be surprising if more than 50-60 of them were initiated. And obviously the sororities are losing people somewhere along the line if most of them top out around 250 -- assuming a pledge class of 80 for four years, if they weren't getting a number of deactivations, that number would top out around 320 (!).
