ADqtPiMel, the scenario I was envisioning was like what you mentioned: maybe quota was 55 one year and 56 the next, but mabye you also had 1 girl drop from the pledge process the year before, or maybe one of those 55 was on study abroad that year. oi, the poor pledge who has to make that family tree!! Hehe, that's why ours are so complicated. We were refounded in 1988 by 5 sisters, so we all go back to one of 5 trees. But in our forming years, we had both a spring and a winter class, sometimes with people sharing littles, so they branch off into two different trees. It's frustrating!! I'm related to 99 percent of my pledge class, but there's one girl who is in a tree that doesn't fork!!
