Alpha Gam - from Michigan to Costa Rica
Hi everyone! I have to share this great story. Today I got an email from the chapter that I used to advise. (Zeta Nu, Alma College, Michigan) They are planning to surprise one of their sisters for her graduation in May 2005 and want my help in planning to bring her parents to the U.S. from Costa Rica.
For those of you who went to Convention, Vanessa is the young woman who won the award for the longest distance traveled - Costa Rica to Chicago by way of Alaska! She's a darling young woman with a heart of gold. Her parents have sacrified enormously to send their daughter to the U.S. for schooling and just can't afford to come for her graduation. So... my little squirrels are busy coming up with plans to raise enough money to pay for two round trip tickets from San Jose to Detroit, hotel accomodations for 4 nights and a rental car.
