I'm a firm believer in that people want what they can't have. If drugs were legalized, I don't think we'd have as big of a problem with addiction and overdoses since drugs would no longer be viewed as mysterious and forbidden. It's the same thing as the laws that prevent the US from selling alcohol to people under 21. The countries that do not have as stringet of an anti-alcohol policy as the US do not have nearly the same problems with alcoholism as we do.
Alcohol is just as bad if not worse for you than some of the illegal drugs out there....
