I know I'm late, but my chapter has been up to some great things lately, including:
-sending care packages to the freshmen recipients of our scholarships;
-holding our annual fundraising event, attended by more than 2,000 people, and raising an estimated $90K for our scholarship and community programs;
-donating clothes and other personal items for a "shopping day" at a local women and children's home;
-conducting a coat drive to provide warm, new coats to individuals in need.
On a personal note, I've gotten off my butt to mentor a young parent, and my volunteer orientation is this Thursday.
