All of these events sound like lots of fun, especially that holiday party for the sisterhood! My favorites were:
Kidnap - a date function where you get set up by a sister and you buy a toy for you and your date. When they guys show up you look for the guy with the matching toy and he's your date for the even. Sisters rarely ever got set up (most had boyfriends or someone they would just ask) but it was always a lot of fun because there was a different theme every year and we dressed up. My favorite theme was Famous Couples.
And formal was also a favorite because I love getting all dressed up.
We never did Owl-oween (Kidnap was usually in Oct or Nov) but I have heard of chapters doing it right around Halloween and it sounds like lots of fun.
