MCAT in a week! Who's with me?

Anyone else taking the MCAT next Saturday?

What type of preparation have you done?
What score are you aiming for?
Are you applying this year? Where?
Is anyone considering DO school?

I took Kaplan all summer. Had my final full length practice today (as I guess probably all kaplan students did). It really seemed to help me a lot, at least by providing structure to my studies, even though I haven't seen any improvement in my full lengths, I did improve a lot from the diagnostic test.

I'm hoping to get a 33, and I think a Q, R or S is pretty feasible on the writing sample for me.

My mom finally convinced me to apply this year and I guess I will be applying to Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, Mizzou and Creighton for sure. After that, probably a couple of private schools, and UCLA will be my super stretch school. Ideally, I'd prefer KU or Nebraska, but if I got into UCLA it'd be hard to say no. But right now it's just important that I get in...somewhere, any where.

I've thought about DO school, and I'm still not sure what to think - looking at some of the data it seems like it is easier to get in, and they do everything else a doctor does, so I'm not sure what's holding me back from applying to a couple of those as well.

Anyways - good luck to all the future GC doctors next week!
