OK I haven't read this whole thread but I have to rant about my ex. I recently made nice with him for many reasons, one of them being that it is easier to be "friends" then enemies. Anyways, long story short, he called me tonight to just shoot the shit. I realized (again) how happy I am we are broken up when within a minute of the conversation he began telling me how I should be living my life and how I shouldn't work for the agency I do and I should work at a hospital and not to trust my new boyfriend because it's only been a couple of months and I should live in a certain place and blah de blah de blah de blah. Oh the best is when he tried to tell me what my job is and what Social Workers do in hospitals, and why "Hospital Social Workers" are the ones who make the most difference in the world because they make they most money (????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!). (By the way he is a law student so he has no clue what I do in comparison). Actually no, that's not the best, the best of the best was when he began evaluating my friend's long-term relationship with HER boyfriend. I am so glad God invented break-ups because they help you realize how far you have come since certain people now matter how much they suck when you are going through them.
