THIS IS NOT AN ENDORSEMENT ONE WAY OR THE OTHER! as of this moment, I am still undecided. But...

in response to the comments about Bush's performance in Texas:

the bill that was passed in the last Texas legislative session that brought healthcare to thousands of needy children....

was violently lobbied AGAINST by the Bush camp and Republican legislators. It passed anyway, despite his efforts.

I do have a problem with Bush claiming on national TV that the CHIP bill was "HIS" doing, when he actually was one of the strongest opponents....

and... Bush DID also say during the second debate that Texas passed a "hate crimes" bill, alluding that it was his tenure as governor we have to thank for the bill.

Texas does NOT have any "hate crimes" legislation or law, courtesy of Bush's actions during the last legislative session. He was intentionally misleading on that issue during the 2nd debate. I don't have a problem with either position on the hate crimes issue... but I do dislike the misrepresentation that has been consistent throughout Bush's campaign.
