I say buy the DVD of Firefly....its a wondeful show the opening scene of the pilot and the theme song set the mood of the entire series and is wonderful.
If you liked Nathan FIllon as Caleb (BTVS) you'll love him as Mal
If you liked Gina Torres as Jasmine (AtS) you'll loved her as Zoe
If you liked Summer Glau as The Prima Ballarina (AtS season 3, when they went to the Ballet and Angel and Cordy made out) you'll love her as River
If you liked Jonathan M. Woodward as Holden Webster (BTVS season 7, "Conversations with the Dead, he was the vampire that Buffy had the conversation with) or as Knox (AtS Season 5), he makes an appearance in one of the episodes.
