ok, well, not for a while, but i wanna go ahead and get thoughts together. this is spawned from an IM convo last night:
alrighty, i start cosmetology school in a month, right? ok....i'll be done in a year and a half. i decided a few months ago that as soon as i am done with school, i'm moving out of KY....which means i'll have to take prob 2 state boards, but whatev, it's all good. my thoughts are this: i love being in KY and my people here and being close to my family, but......i'm tired of KY and i want something new. SO! i need ideas of good places to live. i don't want to go too far north b/c i am a Southern gal and we just can't have that. i don't want TOO big of a city b/c when i went to chicago....let's just say i stuck out reeeEEEALLY bad. (sorry, but the ppl telling me i was going to hell for fornication were just FASCINATING)
places i have thought of: GA, TX, MD, or going back down to AL. i would really like to be someplace totally new, though. TX b/c, let's face it, ya never really hear too much bad about it (and i loves me the W
), and maryland b/c one of my sisters lives there now and loves it......
anyway, any info/advice would be great......my mom says we'll just take a trip to some places over the next year and a half to see how i like it.....just to get an idea--which i LOVE. gimme trip ideas, ppl!
