I just returned from my fraterntiy's National Convention. I met a lot of wonderful people. One of the ladies (who graduated from my university in 1942!!) gave me some great advice.. she pointed out that anytime I go to or near a city, there is probably an alumni chapter there. And I have an instant supply of friends
and people knowledgeable about the city!
If you belong to a national organization, see if you can locate some alumni in the area you are moving to. I'm sure they would be MORE than happy to help you out!!
