you can make an excellent case for Pedro but his slow start really hurt his chances. I thought Lyle Overbay deserved to be on the NL Roster and baseball rules are ridiculous in the effect that Beltran gets voted in and gets traded and he is only allowed to participate in everything up to the game and not the game itself.
From a Red Sox standpoint (im a diehard) we need to send a message to this team whether it is trading D. Lowe or just eating his salary and realising him b/c he gives us NO chance at victory at all when he takes the mound!
