I also would prefer not to have a tv in the bedroom. The only time I want one there is if I am in bed sick. I am embarassed by the size of the tv in my bedroom. Everyone comes to watch movies at my house, but the bedroom tv is over the top. And if asked why we must have a tv that big in the bedroom, the answer given is unreal! Our bed is very tall--- I am 5'3" and the top of the matress is well above my hips. My kids can't get into the bed w/o a step stool. So my hubby's reasoning is we must have a big tv so it is equal height with the bed--easier to see when laying in bed!!
I agree with you, the tv just takes up too much space and needs a diet!!
