question about joining

Hi I am a junior well I will be this fall in college and I was wondering if that is to late to try and pledge? Also not being a freshman how would I get recruited? LOL sorry if I sound dumb but I'm transfering in to a new college and I would really like to be a sister, but coming from a small community college I don't know if I'll be invited.
