a nice outfit...Sigma Tau Gamma

If you are thinking about adding a chapter to your campus, why
not consider Sigma Tau Gamma?
The Sig Taus...formed at Central Missouri after WWI...were an educational fraternity...along with Phi Sigma Epsilon, Kappa Sigma
Kappa, Delta Kappa, etc. They were basically located at teachers'
colleges. Pretty good chapters, good grades, jocks, good manners. My old high school sup't, Ed Grannert, was one of the
founders at Warrensburg.
Sigma Tau Gamma joined the NIC sometime after WWII, but were still generally a midwestern fraternity.
Over the years the teachers' colleges became state universities and NIC groups entered...to face some tough competition. And
the Sig Taus in the past coupla decades have successfully gone on into the larger schools, too.
As a field rep in the 50s I ran into them frequently, and even aided in gettin' them a coupla chapters.
I salute them, they are a good outfit, a midwestern late-comer, a
worthwhile competitor, and darn nice guys.
Consider the Sig Taus...a good group!
