I'm a sophomore now and I've taken time to do my research...I've looked at all of the sororities and came to a conclusion from meeting people and via websites...Maybe me posting in this forum will give you a hint as to which one I've chosen...Zeta is the only org. that I've seen that has that true sisterly bond with its members. I know that community service is necessary for consideration, but it's been a bad semester-my family has been through a lot this semester and so have I. I've done community service in the past, but I'm wondering if this semester will hurt my chances of gaining acceptance into this illustrious org...also, I was wondering about the informational...I have late classes and I had a test the next day so I couldn't make it to the informational. I spoke to some people that went and they told me what happened, but do I have to attend the informational to be considered for the intake process if I, because of my class, couldn't make it. I am really anxious and want to further my quest for knowledge. I hope I haven't said anything offensive...Also, what is the correct way to approach a soror about membership? I know some sorors from various activities I participated in, but didn't tell them of my intrest, yet. I guess I was kind of observing the way they acted in general and towards a non-greek...I haven't seen the way they handle "prospects" but they're always about the business and are composed so that you can see their finer womanhood shine through. This is probably getting kind of long, so I'll end it now
