I agree on house of sand and fog. I haven't read the book and I have heard they follow each other pretty closely so i wonder if there's even a point.

I think American Psycho's book was disturbing but the movie was not. The movie focused more on the humor. My friends and I joke a lot about each other being just like the guy in the movie and watch it all the time.
