My ALL time favorite TV Show is A Different World.
Why?
I would have to say because when the show first aired (back in the late 80's) I had no idea about college life and living in a dorm on campus. They were my only insight.
Unfortunately after graduating from high school (Class of '89 Represent!) I wasn't able to experience it first hand.
Although I know what I saw wasn't a real campus, the show dealt with some serious issues that students face on a day to day basis...whether away from home or not.
I must say that my FAVORITE episode is The Wedding
...you know: Whitley/Byron/Dwayne.
I know I was long...but I LOVE that show!
