If something sounds too good to be true, it is.
Listen to your mother, she is almost always right.
Don't do anything that you don't want to do. Learn to tell people "no".
There is no such thing as a secret. If you tell one person a secret they will always tell at least 2 other people even if it is their momma, and their dog.
Don't lie. the truth will always come out.
