Beautiful name, McSomething! Kidding. The jacket I wear every St. Pats day is from O'Halloran's Tiperary Pub in Detroit. It was a gift from the owners Tommy and Kathleen O'Hallaran 22 years ago when I left Detroit TV to move to Denver.
It was just a great little Cop and TV bar on the Southfield Freeway. I don't know if it's still there, and I think I heard that Kathleen has passed away -- but what great memories.
With all the cops there after work, it gave the term Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms a whole new meaning.

This is so cool! If you look at the pic galleries unter "Tommy's birthday party," on the fifth page, I'm pretty sure that the woman in the blue is Robbie Timmons, an anchor at WXYZ-TV. When I was there, she was at WJBK, where I worked when it was a CBS station. The big guy in the yellow shirt, I think, it Jim Branstatter, Robbie's husband who worked at WDIV and is still (again, I think) radio voice of the University of Michigan football broadcasts. I'll bet they'll be there tonight after the 11PM News!
