Thumbs down

I think reality TV was cool, until some people started getting a little crazy. For instance, Fear Factor is too much--some of the stunts were cool, but rats and worms. That show Chains of Love from UPN was tacky and too much--did you all see that? If not, luck you. If so, you saw how shallow and canniving people can be (the white girl's comment about the Asian girl). Also, I hope Big Brother wasn't as annoying to the cast, as it was to me, the viewer.
I did, however, enjoy Real World, Boot Camp, and Making the Band (better than Popstars). I think MTV needs to let Real World go b/c the novelty is wearing off, and as Heather B said, it's not "real" anymore. Unlike the first Real World, and possibly the two after that one, folks are painfully aware of the camera...and are not being real, they're being actors. Now, Real World is going back to where it began, NY...cool, I'll probably watch it.
