pride and respect
I think now more than ever is the time for greeks to come together and realize that even though we all have different pins (or badges)- we are all greek. We all belong to organizations that we love and have brothers and sisters that mean the world to us.
Through all the stereotypes and drama that sometimes comes with being greek- don't forget why we are here.
On a personal note- my particular university's administration has decided to "re-evaluate" the greek system at my school This means that they are debating whether to let us stay or kick us out depending on whether they come to the conclusion that greeks on this campus contribute positively to the university's atmosphere. My point is that through this experience the greeks at my school have had to come together and support each other. I don't see why we can not do that nationally.Take pride in what you do and what your organization stands for.
For those who have been posting negative posts about greeks in general or about specific organizations- I'm sorry you feel that way.
As for the accused. Only you know the truth. It is always a shame when entire organizations and tainted because of the "supposed" actions of a few.
I guess what I am trying to say is keep your heads up and support each other. Don't forget why you joined the greek system and why you stay.
