BLESSING
Greetings,
I just want to share my good news. I have just been accepted to graduate school for Fall '01!! If any of you remember my obstacles that I wrote about in a past post then you would know why I am so excited. I just have to say God is good and He will make a way out of no way. At one point in my life I was so depressed and was going through so much. My family and personal problems affected my grades so much that I was academically suspended with a 1.2 GPA!!!
I returned to school in April '99 with only 28 credit hours that I could use. My mother died that same quarter but I didn't give up. I remained in school, worked full time, volunteered, and raised my son (all while maintaining a 3.0 or above GPA each quarter).
I am graduating this spring with at least a 3.0 and a double major. Now, stating all of this I can not phantom the idea that anyone would question that God is real.
There is no way I could have done this by myself. To this day, no one knows of my difficulties in school so I couldn't get any support from the most important people in my life. Anything is possible when you have faith and put your trust in God. The only thing that's bothering me now is my mother is not physically here with me to share my excitement. I had some trying times(and I still do) but I have to remind myself that when I do what I can, God will do what I can't.
