The color scheme of the picture matched the bathroom so I'm guessing that's why she put it there. But whyyyy? She's never expressed interest in membership to this organization to my knowledge. In the short time that I've been in my sorority, I have had a couple of experiences that made me go "hmmm."
Once, I had on a baseball cap in the drugstore and a late 20-something AA woman comes up to me and says "Did you go to the chapter meeting. Was it on Saturday or Sunday?" Well, I looked at her real good b/c I thought that maybe she was in my chapter and I just didn't recognize her right away. Then when I determined that she wasn't in the chapter, I asked if she was a member of the sorority - expecting her to say yes since she came up and asked this strange question. She said "no" and informed me that four women at her job were members of the sorority and had been discussing an upcoming chapter meeting. I was further taken aback b/c there is more than one chapter in Chicago and I was wondering why she would ask me this anyway. I was like ????. It was such a weird incident. She just walked away as if she randomly asks members that she has never seen in her life if they attended their chapter meeting all the time.
It was bizarre.
