Forgive me for adding my $19.20 worth but this is a good topic....When I was a kid I use to love to jump down the flight of 14 stairs in my apartment complex. My mom would warm me "girl you going to break yor behind one of these days" but I wouldn't listen. I would jump down those steps with all kinds of things in my hand and mouth. One day a girlfriend came by to visit. It was during the summer months so the door was open. well being the big show off I was I decided to jump down the stairs to greet her.
Well in my apartment a portion of the ceiling hung low over the stairs. On this particular day I jump too high...my head hit the ceiling....I was sitting in mid air...when I landed ....on the cement floor I was in a sitting position. I looked at my friend who was biting her lips to keep from laughing....held up one finger and said Gina I'll be right back. I ran up those steps holding my head screaming for my mother...Momma I hit my head, I hit my head....I hit that ceiling so hard it put a dent in my forehead which has since grow back into my hairline. But all my mom would say is...."Girl, I told you 'bout jumping down those stairs!"...I never did make it back downstairs to see my friend!...
