In that case, I would say it would depend on the personality and reputation of the chapter. How "proud" could one be if their chapter had evolved and along the way gained a well deserved poor reputation?
LSU doesn't have AXO so I just hoped she would find a place where she was comfortable. My niece is an AXO though and I was happy to give her my pin.
As my son nears initiation in LX, I asked Hubby this question since SX IS at LSU. He is happy for my son and it doesn't matter to him one bit. Who really knows though. Perhaps if Hubby would be watching his son at the ceremony, it might make a difference-at that MOMENT. There are people I know that feel MUCH stronger about their children carrying on a legacy.
