Lots of MiniSeries

It seems like there have been a lot recently and more coming up. I guess TV networks realize there is an audience for movie-quality TV movies and series.

I know Angels in America and Battlestar Galactica just finished.

Coming up are:
Traffic- USA (January 2004)
Kingdom Hospital - ABC March 2003
Enter the Grid - TNT, summer 04
EMPIRE - ABC fall 2004
ROME-at least 12 episodes on HBO 2005

Traffic is a mini-series loosely tied to the movie Traffic about illegal weapons and human trafficking.

Kingdom Hospital - Stephen King series about a haunted hospital

Enter the Grid - not sure - just know they are showing it

Empire and Rome are both set in Roman times, not sure of the details. I think the HBO one is about two soldiers or gladiators or something.

Anyway - these look cool, quality movies in stead of the normal made for tv garbage.

Thought?
