Hey DZKello- I help our VP Of Recruit. with rushes (I was looking to run for VP of Recruit and the current one is one of my best friends.. so I have a few good ideas for you)
Some of the awesome Rush Ideas we have used here at Plymouth State are:
*Message Techniques (we had some peer educaters from our Welness Center come to our house and teach us how to give simple messages for stress.) This one was a HIT!!
*Mexican Fiestas are always fun. Have all the sisters make something... a special Mexican dip, or nachos, etc.. there's always TONS of yummy food.
*Aroma Therapy.. same deal as the Message one.. again, using our FREE PROGRAMS from our Wellness Center.
Check around your campus.. Union Buildings (Student Centers), Wellness Centers, Women's/ Gender Resource Centers, Residential Life offices, Counseling Centers.. I'm sure there are offices that offer free programming.. it gives you a break from the same old same old movie night rushes!! Look around!
I seem to have forgotten the rest..
LoL... But.. let me know if you need any other ideas for sister nights, or anything. I'm the VP of Programming so, I have a few good ideas up my sleeve!!
