Oh man! I thought I was the only one who was afraid of that stuff!!! I think it prevented me from learning to swim very well. When floating around on my back, I'd always freak out that I might be floating over the drain or something and then I'd tense up and not be able to float any more. I'm glad I'm not the only one with this fear...make me feel less silly.
