Business Majors
I think that, unless you really like business and corporate stuff, its probably not that important to have businness major in order to get a job, especially if you're already in a fraternity. Because that is how corporations are run. You have a board of directors (exec) a departmental structure that is part of hirearchy (committes run by chairmen, report to vp. In bussiness managers, suprivorsors report to the vp, one of several vps or sub vps, etc. The size of the "chain of command" would vary, depending on the size of the corporation.
This is my idea of how business works. I only took one "business" course and that was org. and man. of the Theatre. I learned how to count tickets, and sell them, that sort of broad intro survey type course. I din't study very much, but I kept the book some where. I'm just basing my theory on what I would do if I was the corporation itself. I have a natural business sense. I'm not going to waste my time studying business, since it comes natural anyway. I'm just going to go sell my ideas to people. I gave you a glipse. Oh yeah, but here's a secret, a free lesson for greek chat: I'm going to own everything. The name won't be well known, but its better that way. (marketing dept. not allowed at all meetings). Then I'll take over the goverment. I will be elected both popularly and colliegetely. And I'm never going to take any business classes, expect for that one I never came on time for tests for (the earliest i ever was on test day was 20 minutes late) and think they should remove from the curriculm. Seriously, that class was pointless. I'm never wasting my time with bullshit, pardon mon Fracais, business classes again that give petty, trite examples of how extrodianary the corporate structure could achieve. I call it Corporate Socialism. My Gov't will be called The Federation of United Cororate Socialist Republics. The word Democratic was not used because I'm not a Communist.
