I had this happen to me very recently...I just transferred to a new school and a new A-Phi chapter, and I didn't really connect with anyone until after rush. Now, two of my closest friends here are both pledges...I admit I was kind of surprised, but it's funny cuz these 2 girls are my age whereas the A-Phi's I live with are younger, which may be the reason for the connection in the first place! Also, I guess we are both kinda new to this Alpha Phi chapter so that gives us something else in common. Either way I am so glad to have found these girls
