Tom, don't go ragging on co-ed dorms. They are not the problem. I live in a co-ed building my first 2 years that housed 2000 students.
We had security measures, that are alot more lax than what I am getting reading about from Ilovemyglo.
Nothing this bad ever happened.
There were a few female students that were sexually assulted, but not by students. It was by local men that broke in. It has nothing to do with co-ed dorms.
Sometimes, no metter was prevention methods one takes, bad things can still happen.
This is a frivolous lawsuit IMO. No amount of money can ever replace a loved one or will ever make you feel better. (well it seems that it can in this case)
