Mother's/Father's pins

There's a thread in the DG forum with a discussion of whether or not it's appropriate/acceptable to give your mom a DG mother's pin if she's in another GLO, and whether she'd be likely to wear it. (Pretty pin, btw )

I know a bunch of GLOs have mother's and/or father's pins (AEPhi, sadly, not being among them) - so I was wondering:

Ladies:

If your daughter joined your sorority and gave you a mother's pin, how often would you wear it? Alone or with your badge?

If your daughter joined a different sorority from yours and gave you a mother's pin, how often would you wear it? Alone or with your badge?

If your son joined a fraternity and gave you a mother's pin, how often would you wear it? Alone or with your badge?

If you had several kids who went Greek, how would you handle your collection of mother's pins?

Gentlemen:

Same questions, with the obvious reversal of gender

Also: For those of you whose orgs offer mother's/father's pins, what rules do you have regarding where and when they're worn? (e.g. must be in pin attire, not to be worn while consuming alcohol, etc...)
