Here's the story: My roommate is rushing right now so the only time that I'm allowed to talk to her is when we're alone in our room, and I can't talk to her about anything rush-related. It's school policy that sororities don't know what the other sororities do in their rush rooms. But of course, as you can probably guess, my roommate was telling me stuff about rush. I didn't tell her anything about the sororities, I just listened to her. Now one of the sororities on campus, where the girls all have reputations of being big drinkers, for the first night of rush played driking games in their rush room! Like they would play flip cup and beer pong without the beer and if they got it, then underneath the cup was a question that either sisters had to answer about the sorority, or the rushees would have to answer about themselves. It makes me upset that they're doing this because they're conforming to the stereotypes that we as Greeks work to disspell. I've only told one of my sisters about this and we don't know what to do. We don't like the fact that they're doing it, and they could get a major rush infraction for it, but if we tell anyone, it means that we violated strict silence by talking to one of the PNM's and we could get a rush infraction for that too. Any advice?
