I just found out....

Hello, ladies! I'm sorry to crash your boards, but I just learned something really really exciting.

Neither of my parents are Greek (my dad didn't attend college; my mom was "too studious"), and neither of my grandmothers were, either. However, as I was talking to my grandfather the other day, he mentioned that my great-aunt had been highly involved in her chapter, and that I should email her to find out more.

She just replied today. She was a Pi Phi at Syracuse! Not only that, but two other women in my family, making a total of THREE generations, were Pi Phi's, also! One at Duke, and one at Swarthmore. I'm so excited!!!

I don't know how legacies work with you; these relationships are all cousins/great-aunts/great-great-aunts. There isn't a Pi Phi chapter at my campus, but I've heard such wonderful, glowing things about your organization nationally. I'm really honored to have at least some connection to it.

Greek love,
Jenn
