I get frustrated hearing stories like yours. There could be a lot of things going on behind the scenes that you just don't know about. One is always numbers--if houses are at total, they can't take anyone through COB. I really don't know what the deal is in your case though. Just stay positive and if you don't happen to get a bid in the fall, you CAN go thru in the spring. Sometimes houses move a little slow with informal rush if they are not in great need for numbers. It sounds like you would make a great sister for any house--let them see that...right now it is their loss--stay active and positive on campus, be friendly and you will be surprised at what a semester can do. Good luck and if being in a sorority is something you truly want, don't give up.
