I am not sure what year you graduated, but when I did the greek system (as far as NPC/IFC goes) was actually doing quite well after rebounding from the miserable incidents it was going through the previous two years. As far as the rankings go, like DeltAlum pretty said, take it with a grain of salt. But, even though greeks make a small percentage of the student body at UM, I would definatelty say that it still has a big presence/pretty big voice on the campus.
