Let me know what ya think!! My life lately has had me leaning heavy on my sisters and I want you all to know how much I appreciate it and you mean to me! :-)
My Sisters are my confidants,
My secrets are their own.
They’ll never tell what my lips shall spill
What endless trust they’ve shown.
My Sisters are my sounding boards,
Should I need to rant and vent,
They know my angry and helpless tears,
They know my sad lament.
My Sisters are my cheering squad,
With them I can do it all.
I can try as hard as I can,
They’ll be there to catch me if I fall.
My Sisters are my celebrations,
When life gives me a break.
They’re always there to be with me,
If just only for being’s sake.
My Sisters are my lifeline,
They keep me grounded and sane.
Without my sisters in my life,
Life would be simply too mundane.
My Sisters are my great defenders,
No matter where or when.
For me they’ll always step up to bat,
When life’s troubles do begin.
My Sisters are my listening ear,
No matter time or place.
They can tell my every mood,
By the expression on my face.
My Sisters are my family,
Though some I’ve never met.
They know me more than I know me,
And it’s them I’ll not forget.
My Sisters are my memories,
They make me smile and sigh.
They make me grin, they make me laugh,
Remembering the laughs may make me cry.
My Sisters are my Anchors,
No matter near or far.
In my heart, I can be with them,
No matter where they are.
