I know that many of you were interested in Bethany's recruitment process. I don't know what happened with her at the end. There were 144 pnms on the 1st night of rec. I believe that as of the last night, 31 had dropped out. I don't know if that included the 13 that didn't show up for orientation.

WGA has 5 sororities: AGD, XO, AXiD, KD, PMu and TriDelta. Only AGD and 1 other sorority didn't make quota. (I am not totally sure about the other one so I won't say). I don't know the actual numbers the other groups ended up with. AGD has made quota the past few years so I'm not quite sure what happened. They had great numbers all along. It may have been that cosmic explanation of the planets not being aligned right or something. The chapter has a wonderful attitude and already was discussing immediate COB plans with pnms they already knew plus how to meet others they didn't

Two side notes:

For those of you interested in this kind of information, Chi Omega had a bid accepted by the only African American pnm. I think there may have been at least 1 more signed up, but she didn't come to orientation. I'm not positive of the new XO's name but I do know that she was lovely.

Walking to my car to go to the Bid Night Party, there were 2-3 cars from another sorority, full of girls, people walking along, etc. All of a sudden, there was a big crash. The 2nd car, a Saturn, I believe, had plowed into the back of a sister's SUV. The Saturn's front end was messed up pretty bad, I think someone said that the radiator was leaking. Thankfully no one seemed to be hurt.
