I have to add on to what I said in my previous post. In addition to Founder Beulah Burke I also identify with Lillie Burke.
Lillie Burke & Beulah Burke were both Greek scholars and tooke the intiative to help formulate the motto--very intelligent ladies.
Also it is said that Beulah was contacted to help in nationalizing the sorority because it was known that she supported this progression.
Lillie was also known for her lovely floral arrangements. That tells me she had a bit of an artist within her and great taste--not unlike myself.
Finally the fact that these two sisters were so close reminds me quite a lot of the relationship I have with my own sisters. (sniff sniff)
