VERY well said and I firmly agree.
I also have to add this. As an alumna of a GLO with a chapter at Mizzou (at least we did last time I checked) I would be thoroughly disgusted at our chapter for taking an attitude against a struggling chapter.
One of the chapters at my alma mater (where I am an advisor) has been struggling for years and every recruitment they are the second chapter I ask about. Losing any chapter is back for all chapters. I was a pledge when my chapter was going through the closure decision and it SUCKS.
