I understand where you are coming from BUT MY problem with this situation was the fact that the woman felt the need to say..."I don't know about the role of African American women...."
Didn't she know/understand Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated? The remark was totally insensitive (and quite ignorant considering the audience)
