I would definitely worry more about getting those recs than about your standing. Very sadly at schools with large greek systems it can be difficult (although it seems from what people have said, not impossible) for Jrs. at UF to get bids. You can't control or change that you are a transfer student, so do what you can to get yourself some glowing recs and head out to rush with your head held high and go find yourself some sisters !!
