I realize that there are no dumb questions, but I did get one last year that came very,
very close. I was rescuing one of my sisters from a painful conversation with a rushee who was flat-out rude every time she came to the house, when she looked at me with a semi-interested expression and asked, "Who lavaliered you?" I automatically looked down and thought, "WTF?" because I was wearing my own DZ lavalier. I replied that my big sis had given it to me on Big/Little Revealing Night, and the girl gave me a strange look like I had sprouted antennae and said obnoxiously, "But I thought only guys could give girls lavaliers?" Um...OK.
