I get burned pretty easily, and aloe makes me feel a ton better, as well as helps the burn heal faster.

Put it in the fridge before you use it, it works even better to soothe the pain.
Good call - I am incredibly fair (Irish much) and I use aloe all summer long. I usually put it on as soon as I get out of the shower, so then it is dry and un-sticky by the time I get dressed. The fridge thing works wonders, during the summer I keep my moisturizer in the fridge as well

Whatever you do, if you have sensitive skin, do not get medicated aloe. I got roasted last year in St. Louis at a track meet, and I bought the medicated stuff thinking it would make me feel better. It burnt so badly, I was crying when I put it on.
