Just an Introduction

Hello Ladies,

Let me first start off this introduction by saying that I am not a member of your organization, but am very interested in becoming a member.

I am a 27 married mother of a 2 yr. old. I just finished law school a couple of years ago (hence, the user name), and have been teaching at a college. I did not get the opportunity to pledge in undergrad, and was offered an informal invitation from a grad chapter a few years ago, but have since moved to another part of the country. I haven't met any members of your organization here yet, although I have found out that there are a few chapters nearby.

I finally decided to post because I am very impressed with how friendly and helpful you are with non-members. Although my mother isn't an AKA, nearly all of the other females in my family are. Unfortunately, they belong to the same grad chapter in N.C., nearly 10 hours away.

While I do have some other questions, at this point, I would like to say hello to all and hope that you will welcome me as a Sisterfriend.
