Sometimes, depending on the organization, you can pledge at another school. It depends on the org's policy.
For example, the sorority may have a metropolitan chapter in that city, where as long as you are a matriculated student at an accredited 4 year institution, you can apply for membership. Or, with the same stipulations, some orgs will allow you to pledge at a school in the area, if you don't have a chapter at your school.
You'd really hve to look into each and every org's policies. Like if you have an idea of what you want to join, or some familiar sorority names, you can start there.
