I don't think you can ONLY limit it to BGLO members.
I think that one's life EXPERIENCES or lack of constitues one's maturity level.
That pettiness that you speak of PRIMARILY can be found among YOUNGER individuals 18-21 year olds. Since you are on a university campus, it is more normal to come into contact with immaturity than not.
